How do I place an order?
Browse our product selection and click the "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now" buttons. If these buttons do not work, you may need to upload an artwork file to place the item in the cart!
What is your turnaround/production time?
Our production time is 3-7 business days depending on the product and our standard shipping is 3-5 business days. This may vary due to the size of the order or the volume of orders in our system.
Please do not place an order if a due date is approaching or past. We do not offer expedited production or shipping at this time.
If production times are longer than usual, there will be an announcement bar at the top of our home page.
What are your shipping policies?
We offer USPS ground shipping on all orders over $30. Smaller orders require a shipping fee and will also be shipped via USPS.
All orders will receive tracking information via email when the package has been shipped. Please allow a few hours for the tracking number to work.
If a shipping address is incomplete, we will reach out via email for a correct address. If a valid address is not received within 5 business days, the order may be subject to cancelation and payment refunded.
Shipping addresses may be changed via our Contact Us form or via email before tracking information is received.
If your order is lost in the mail, please Contact Us or email. If the address was incorrect, a new order will need to be placed to print again.
We currently only ship within the United States.
How do I know if my artwork will look good when printed?
Printing can be intimidating, especially when you're looking at everything through a screen.
To ensure your print looks great, we highly encourage the following:
- Create your artwork on a correctly sized artboard. If you are ordering a 4" x 6" journal, please set your artwork to 4" x 6" or proportionately larger.
- Create your artwork in CMYK and calibrate your screen. If you're concerned about blues printing purple, this is the best way to prevent any issues.
- If a picture you took is in RGB, no need to panic! Our printers will still print beautifully, color shifts are minimal.
- If you are printing a picture, please check that the resolution is at least 100dpi before placing your order to prevent pixelation.
- Minor color shifts are normal at any printer and we have quality checks to ensure everything looks great before packaging and shipping.
- If you are looking for an exact color match (PMS, HEX, etc), we recommend using a commercial printer with color matching technology.
- If we have an issue with printing your artwork, we will contact you via email for a new file.

What is your return/exchange policy?
As all of these items are handmade to order, we do not offer returns or exchanges at this time. If the products received are damaged upon delivery, they may be subject to a reprint or a recreation.
What determines a reprint?
We can offer reprints if there are any of the following:
- Deep scratches that remove ink or lamination
- Tears that are >1in or disrupt text
- White edges on full bleed images
- Failed structural integrity: pages falling out, cover came off, etc
- Wrong artwork was printed
- Poor print quality
Other qualifications or exclusions may apply.
Products can qualify for a reprint within 48 hours of order arrival, this does not cover natural wear and tear.
If you believe your product is in need of a reprint, please take pictures of the damage and contact us.
Can I print a copyrighted image?
Absolutely not. Unless a proof of permit to reproduce, BookBirdies is not permitted to print any copyrighted material, including but not limited to text or imagery.
If you have a permit, please contact us with documentation before placing the order.
Any order placed that does not follow these rules will be canceled and payment refunded.
What is the best way to reach a representative?

Before submitting the form, please note that we do not accept order placement via the Contact Us form or via email. If you are interested in commissioning a custom piece, please email our team with your project request.

What are your sustainability practices?
We are an eco-friendly and waste-conscious shop. All our paper materials are FSC certified and we reuse as much as we can (Which is why we have our mini-books!).
We are always looking for ways to conserve the planet as we create new things.

Do you offer wholesale/trade pricing?
Not at this time, we are a small shop with a primary focus of quality work at fair pricing. We frequently have holiday sales, but outside of that, our pricing is set.
Why is there no discount for 10+?
Please email us for quantities over 10 to discuss quantity discounts! Every project is different and requires special consideration.
Can I print anything?
BookBirdies reserves the right not to print or produce illegal, immoral, or political material.
Although BookBirdies is not associated with the artwork we print, we will not print hate speech or violent imagery towards an individual or a group of people.
